One night, while reading Newtonian Physics for Babies to his 3-year-old son Sawyer, Michael got hit with a barrage of questions:
- "Did Isaac Newton teach you?"
- "Did he invent science?"
- "Can you write a book about him?"
So, he did.
🌱 From Bedtime Story to Book Series
What started as a father-son experiment became History's Heroes—a picture book series introducing kids to real people whose questions changed the world.
Michael writes to help kids:
- Fall in love with science and ideas
- See failure as part of discovery
- Find heroes who started out just like them

Before writing for kids, Michael spent over a decade leading creative and product teams in startups and tech. Across industries, his work has focused on empowering people to explore, build, and learn.
